Nasi Goreng



Nasi goreng - my fav. For me the most important ingredients for nasi goreng is Shallot and chili, without it , it just doesnt taste the same

Chicken and Sweet Corn on Rice


Another weekday routine, I sometimes find that when you take pic of the rice dishes , it does not look appealing. need to work on my photography skill ha ha
but look it is winter, back from work, tired , off I go, 15 min all done (cooking time and eating time ha ha)

Ingredient:
1 can creamed sweet corn
cubed chicken breast/thigh
egg
water/chicken stock
potato starch to thicken

I have been watching too much Korean drama and been drooling long enough for jjang myun, finally I cooked Jjang Myun from scratch, not the noodle ha ha

Salt Pepper Silver Fish


Weekend, I bought a whole box of silver fish, defrost them and stick them into smaller bag.
When i get back from work all i do is just defrost one pack. Argggggh the amount of time i have spent cleaning the oil splash afterwardssssss.

Garfish Ochazuke

We got too excited deep frying all the garfish that chez catch yesterday



I remember I bought Ochazuke pack, so here we go, scoop in rice on soup bowl, pull apart garfish meat on top, in ochazuke pack, then hot water, microwave 1-2 min, voila!!!

Thai Chicken Curry


We had morning tea at the office today, I am in charge of fruit platter, bought a big pineapple and thought ahh pineapple would be nice in a curry tonight.

For some reason i always feel curry dishes is tastier the next day

Steamed Drummer Fish with fermented black bean


Chez caught Drummer fish and we decided to steam it. Since we had no spring onion and ginger, so we can't do the classic cantonese soya sauce steam fish, instead I use stir fry leek and fermented black bean.
